Luckily it was the actual delivery truck. Immediately afterwards I regretted it, as it was EXTREMELY sketchy and I live in a dark secluded area with my 39 week pregnant wife. Not wanting to miss out, we just said sure. A woman answers and asks the same questions. It was quickly followed up with the following text: "this pottery barm (sic). But tonight while having dinner, we got a call from a completely random residential number, which we ignored. Our new date was supposed to be tomorrow. It was scheduled two weeks ago, after sitting at a warehouse for months, and then promptly canceled minutes before it was due to arrive.įast forward to tonight. When we actually sat in the chairs, we definitely had opinions so might be worth it for a day trip before you make up your mind.Īlso, echoing the tip to talk to a designer! I bought my chair through the chat and the designer was in Florida haha I bought it on their big sale day in September so only got 10% off, but I think she mentioned I could have gotten a bigger percentage if I had made a registry.ĭON'T DO IT!!!!! My wife and I ordered one IN SEPTEMBER, and still have not received it. Not sure how deep into Maine you are, but there is a PB Kids store in Lynnfield, MA right off 95. I know COVID is messing up supply chains, but we had prepared for a 3 month wait and it ended up being 4 womp womp I found it really hard to get a straight answer of what was going on which was frustrating (for comparison, I bought furniture from Jordan's that was also delayed and when I asked what was going on, they immediately told me where the dressers were and when they thought I'd get them). Their customer service does suck and the chair took an extra month to arrive. I don't have those specific models, but I just got the Charleston recliner. I do know that PB has a reputation for not-so-great customer service, which is why we're ordering so early! We live in Maine, so unfortunately, no outlets or PB Kids stores near us. Does anyone own one of these gliders? If so, would you say that the cost is warranted due to quality and comfort compared to other, cheaper pieces? I'm having such a hard time pulling the trigger - not sure if this is due to pregnancy hormones or logic! Thanks in advance for any advice! Either would cost $629 with the extra 30% off clearance discount currently in place. My husband is SUPER frugal and isn't thrilled with the price of the PB Kids gliders.

We are lucky enough to be receiving many items second-hand from family members, but I have my heart set on purchasing a new glider/recliner. I'm 15 weeks, and my husband and I are trying to solidify furniture plans for our nursery.
